Oatmeal Cake

Age Rating: 7 to 127

 
This cake is very moist and makes its own glazed topping. So easy to make. It is one of my son's favorites.

Oatmeal Cake- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes,
or until done.
Grease a 8x8 baking pan

1 and 1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup of quick oatmeal
Pour boiling water over oatmeal in a bowl and let stand
******************************************************
1 stick of butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 and 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp.cinnamon
1 tsp. salt

Beat all ingredients until well blended.
Add oatmeal and blend until all mixed.
Pour into greased pan and bake.
