Breathe In Breathe Out

  Breathe In Breathe Out

Acutely aware of all I am
I deeply drink from the vast and endless cup of Life
My soul attuned to inward thoughts
Heard and answered from the Universe at large

The silver-laced rain drops laugh in liquid glee
Freefalling from overloaded thunderclouds on high
Dancing springtime shower releases the intoxicating scent
Of wild-tumbling honeysuckle vines
Colors blooming buttercup yellow and snowy white
Running rampant along the woodland's edge
Their heady smell, perfumed with love
Engulfs my senses in blissful spellbound magic

I find my whispering quiet, the wonderful Gift Of Living
The comforting peace of quiet solitude
My boundless backporch joy shelters me in Time's one special moment
I see my purpose, my serene calmness in the Path I choose to take
As I slowly breathe the misty air in
And I slowly let my lungs breathe out

All miracles occur within my breath
All my family lives within my breath
All my body and mind lie within my breath
My breath is the current
Connecting me to All Of Life

Wow, Nancy...this is a powerful thought. I find myself aware of breathing in and out while reading it!
Your imagery is exquisite. And that hill is so inviting...This is a moment of peaceful pondering -- thank you!
