In the Fall, the air is cool
And laughing children return to school.
The leaves are changing to red and gold
And evening sunsets are glowing bold.
Fluttering ribbons in the sky:
Northern geese go flying by.
Heading south to escape the cold
Along migrant patterns formed of old.
Morning sun goes bouncing brightly
Off downy feathers gleaming whitely.
Fragrant wood smoke fills the air
As for the cold the world prepares.
Soon the snow will begin to fly
And holidays again are nigh.
The changing seasons seem to be
A chance for the world to see
The beauty of the changing Earth
And all the things that it is worth.
