Was it only yesterday I felt the bite of winter's frozen chill
the briny taste of ocean's salty foam
Breaking out of overclouded jail, the springtime sun bursts forth
as woodland faeries closely gather, making merry
Eros waltzing, viola d'amore and luted mandolins
sonata splash dance, gavotte tinkling gossammer-fluted butterflies
shimmerings of May sprinklings, the blessings of fertility rites
The first reunion touch, bittersweet communion interlude,
intruding concertina, gypsy-skirling though my ripe tomato blood
flamenco's castanetting beats along with adagio's minor chords
incorporating rythmic weaving dream-thoughts,
absorbed into the very center of my mind's eye, enraptured wanderings
In conclave quick desire of secret longings, assuming to be me
Infused with warm prevailing winds, Jupiter's jovial plasma,
I devour, spill forth premeditated words, longforgotten memories
The drop zone spell is cast through the misted dawn of day
My bodied form relinquished, an altering in disguise
I am a golden koi-fish spy, sporting cheap sunglasses
