Darque Angel

  Darque Angel

Amongst the gloomy grey of rainswept days
Amidst the onyx shadows of the churning night
Lives my Darque Guardian Angel
Keeper of Incarnate Evil, shape shifter extraodinaire
Darque Fallen One on the inside, no radiating Light
Crystal Clear Innocence on the outside, blast-furnance Bright
Epidemic Darque, diseased thoughts, rapid sickness outbreak
His angelic broken smile is an intended misdirection,
a carniverous deception, enticing those who go astray
An unholy oracle whose emphatic words drip deadly honey
He says there are no redflag danger signals, no warning signs to see or heed
Smooth sailing in my calming waters, your safety is assured with me

In his Moon Faerie Kingdom, Darque Kingdom of Darque Angels
I am a lonely orphan, adopted Sister, Dreamer in the Darque
Alana Starr, trapped gypsy, sprouting silvery clear double-gossamer wings
Luminous yellow, waistlength waterfall of hair
I will only permit fair weather breezes, warm afternoons of complete compassion
To encircle the inner tropical island of my Heart and Soul,
remaining hidden from his view as he sails his Darquened Desperado Sea
His razor sharp vision magneto blinded to his self-imposed iron will
I dispatch dazzling multi-colored butterflies, spectacular in their grand illusion
Scattering into red-capped glowing vapors that disappear into the Lost Horizon
Shadowing the pivotal guidepost milemarkers
to his soul-less and bewildered victims
Pinpointing the underground passageway home

Some shudders though this one, Nancy! Love the mystical aura...and as always, I enjoy your marvellous descriptions and fast-paced flow!

The characters in this particular poem came from one of my daughter's role playing pages, but I have lived life as of both of them. Now I live in the light of reality, although the darkside enticement always beckons.

I love it Moon Faerie oh my you know me and the way you set up images with such vivid colors and emotion is breathtaking at times. Well done I would love to see the world always in these ways. Thank you.
