Willy Loves Jessie

By Danny J.

Introduction

Willy the cat is lonely. Until his owner brings home another cat…

Copyright2002

“I wish I had another cat to play with,” said Willy. “I am so lonely!”

Ten minutes passed and his owners started to put their coats on. “What are they doing?” said Willy. Then they left. “Where are they going?” Willy said.

One hour passed and Willy began to wonder. “They have been gone for an hour now,” said Willy. “What in the world could they be doing?”

Ten minutes later they came home with a new cat. She was a black cat. "Yahoo!" said Willy. “I have a buddy!”

The owners headed for the bedroom. They put her in.

“Oh no,” said Willy. “When will I get to play with her? Maybe they want us to get to know each other first.”

A day passed by. One time Willy’s owner’s kid brought the black cat out when he was not supposed to.

Willy saw her and said “Hi.” The black cat said, “Hi, my name is Jessie, what is your name?” Willy said, “My name is Willy and you are so sweet!”

Often times Jessie and Willy would chase each other. They also would wrestle a lot.

Their owners’ kid was responsible for feeding them. Often they would have to wait a while before they got fed.

“Meeeeeooooooww!” Jessie would say. Their owners’ kid did not get his allowance when he did not feed them.

One morning Jessie said to Willy, “I wish he would feed us!” Willy said, “Me too!”

Soon they heard footsteps coming. “Here he comes!” Jessie said. He put food in their bowls. They were eating and living happily ever after.

The End.
