I leaned on a lazy lion

okay i can write better poems but ya should of seen the word options we had nothing hardly rhymed with the darn words anyway here it is actually its more like a story but not all poetry rhym right? and its kinda stupid but my whole class thought it was funny anyway here it is:

I leaned on a lazy lion who tried to bite my head off.Who was very very large.He knows how to live.For him to live,is biting peoples heads off.This was in the low part of california and i heard he was very loveable,but not to me.I should have never sneaked in his cage.Its very light out in heaven.The bad lion got me!Oh what a long life.He's lucky he's still living.I probly tasted nasty,and he probly choked on me.

anyway its not very funny i gues but all my friend and teachers thought it was but we had to put alot of L words in it and it had to be about a lion anyway i hope ya'all like it thanks bye

Hi Ami! You have some great ideas here...even the thought that you "leaned on a lazy lion" is enough to make the reader interested. And it sounds like you're having fun with your poetry....that's important!
