My Dilemma!
by Laryalee Fraser (Age: 68)
copyright 04-26-2002

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I love this place! I find the words
so often a delight to read.
But when too many come at once,
I'm overwhelmed. So I would plead

for slower pacing -- what's the rush?
I think that one or two a day
by different folks allows the time
to taste the flavors, lets us weigh

the thoughts inside. When I am forced
(through time's restraints) to choose a few
I feel perturbed. I can't keep up.
And now I don't know what to do!

I have made that mistake myself at times. Boy, did I hear it from the WrittenByMe members when I first started there. LOL. And I too don't have the time to read all the new things that are posted. I fear I've missed a great many treasures due to my irregular appearance here on the web. I can't thank you enough for your constant comments that unfailingly show up on my work. They mean so much to me! Hugs.

I know this one all too well..and trying to catch up on reading everything in one fell swoop doesn't cut it..thanks for a wonderful poem.

Oh, whew! I'm so glad no one is upset! I like being able to stop in at everyone's work (there are so many jewels to be discovered!).
Thanks a lot for the understanding comments!

I agree....and I liked the rush of words and flow to this that gives the hurried feel! :)
