Our Father, My dear Father
God of us all, I praise
Your Holy Name
And thank you this day.
Look down upon us
With compassion for our woes
Give us this day the things
we need to survive
the creditors and hawks
who raise their interest
rates and overburden
us with charges beyond
sanity. Forgive us our
sins in foolishly submitting
to these heathens of money
as we forgive them for
sinning against mankind.
They know not what they do.
Lead us not back into
the temptation to spend
above our means and
delivery us from our debtors.
For you Lord are the Power
and the Glory. Amen
