Distant Island

On a island far away in the distance
Where there is no one of existence

Land like a virgin untamed and brazen
Tropical mango and peach and lime colors emblazon

Sandy white crystal chipped glistening beaches
Further from the shores seaweed clings like leeches

No mans foot steps marking the land
Not a garden nor destruction from man’s hand

Tidal waves bathing the edge of the shore
Ocean offering up her treasures in the coves door

Palm trees sway in gentle breezes
No care no fears just sways as it pleases

Swells of white foamed waves crashing against the rocks
Seagulls fly and hover overhead in flocks

Sun is mid against the noon sky in shinning show
In the evening tide the moonbeams on the water glow

On a beautiful island far away in the distance
Lavishing in this wonderland sea and land in coexistence
