Unsuspecting I was captured
Blindly buzzed into my fate
With cool fingers you enraptured
Dark allure with no escape

When you wrapped your web around me
I abandoned everything
I imagined love had found me
But instead I’d found love’s sting

Spider and fly

I am yours - immobilized
I won’t struggle – I won’t try
Strain my wings to reach the sky
All I know is you’re the Spider
And I’m the fly

With sly whispers you deceived me
Such sweet bait each honeyed hiss
Now too late no one’d believe me
I am dying from your kiss

In your grasp I’m helpless quarry
I am drugged – I am confused
But a Spider’s never sorry
For the victims she’s abused
