A Thought

Just a thought
Is all I brought

Perhaps I wanted it to be the case
Or should we go on a wild goose chase

Judging you I can not do
Of fear dear friend you bid me adieu
In which case would make me blue

Merely a thought about our relationship
Questioning the genuine friendship

Of many years we have shared
What if neither of us really cared?

It was just a silly thought
Your reassurance was all I sought

Our relationship is all secure
Each other in all things we would adjure

Friends we will always remain
Our friendship will never suffer in vain

This is well written...the ups and down of friendship, but a true friend is well worth it! :)

A nice pondering of self-doubt Peggy...but concluding with a positive affirmation!
