Dressed In Memories

I am dressed in memories.
Fragile black and white
Or softly hued images
Float like a gypsy skirt
Layer on layer
Unused dusky mementos
Billow around my ankles
Sharing oft trodden paths.
Souls fastened to my bosom
With pins of remembrance
Cling silently
Strengthening me with mystical presence.

Maralee; it's so nice to be wrapped in the warmth of memories. Your poems remind us we are never alone, but "sharing oft trodden paths"...an exceptional line! Love the ethearal feel of the poem.
