Lately I have been working hard on increasing our readership. This will help get all of you more reads.

but... I am swamped and need your help.

What can you do?

One of the things which totally changes how search engines look at a site is 'link popularity'. And what is that?

Simply put it is the number of links on the web which take a person to Prose-n-Poetry.com. Any and all links count. Once a 'trigger point' is reached, the major engines start putting a site at the top of their listings.

So what can you do?

Sign lots of guest books. But be sure when you do, you include a link to your author's page at PnP. Often there is a place to include this link.

If you have a separate website, (Not your PnP Author's page) put a link somewhere on your pages to Prose-n-Poetry, either to your PnP author's page or our opening page. Either counts as a link. Also be sure you have submitted YOUR website to search engines. If your site is not listed, the link will be invisible on the web. If you don't know how to do this, PLease email me. Use the email link at the top of any page and I will help.

If you write at other sites, include a link there to Prose-n-Poetry.com. Again that link can be to your author's page. If you do this in several places, for example in several of your articles there, each one will count as one more link.

What NOT to do: PnP is already submitted to the major search engines and ALL PAGES are indexed. Please DO NOT submit your Author's page to any of the major search engines. This might cause an engine to think it is being 'spammed'.

If you have any questions I'll help. Just email me: Use the email link at the top of any page.

Let's all help to get better recognition of PnP and hence, more reads.

Would you like to see where we are now? If so go here and fill in the url with Prose-n-Poetry.com. You could also fill-in the comparison sites boxes with Authorsden.com, stories.com or other sites.

See links

Lastly, some engines take FOREVER to list sites. Altavista took about a year to list MLM. So patience...

If you don't know how to make a link, this is how:

I often look at other readingn-and-writing sites, and sometimes I join.
It often says " what is your homepage? "
I always write my author's page at p-n-p.
I hope that counts as helping!

I added a link to my yahoo profile.
