There comes a day in most every ones life,
When they look back on all the strife,
On all the pain,
On all the gain,
And on all the love that lost its touch,
And they wonder why life is worth so much,
Especially when they see all life’s devastations,
Droning out all life’s sensations,
When their soul enters the earth’s cosmic clutch,
Things start to not matter so much,
For their being is just a lost child,
In a world of the everglades growing wild,
Lost and scared,
Cold and bared,
Lying alone for an eternity of fear,
Slowly weeping every solemn tear,
And when they look back wishing they never tempted fate,
All in an instant they realize that it is forever too late.
