Growing Season

The sun strengthens
Sprouted plants
Rise to the warmth.
Seedlings develop
Burgeoning in a symphony of growth.
These maiden uprisings,
Stems and leaves
Flowers and fruit
Abound in the flush of summer.
Maturing in housy company,
The garden reaches its potential
Pressing its abundance
Against man made boundaries.
