A faded red rose
Casts its shadow on the wall
As the bees fly by
A dry leaf drifting
brought to me by summer winds
Is all I notice
Blossoms fall like snow
Where no breeze can penetrate
And all is at peace
As a honeybee
Explores a deep peony
It frightens a child
