The sun would shine everyday
On snow or on green meadows
Warm beauty casting shadows.

If I had it my way
I’d see a smile everyday
A look of mischief on a face
Arms to hug me just in case.

Every night under stars I’d lay
To count the twinkles in the sky
To never ever have to cry.
