If You Knew What I Was Thinkng Right Now


If you knew what I wasthinking right now....
Maybe you wouldn't ask.
Maybe it would show in my eyes...
I wouldn't have to say,
It would just be known.

But you don't know.
I am thoughtful, in my own little world.
Filled with emotion and the fact that I am scared.
I am fighting for my life.
All the while watching the world around me.

Pushing myself as much as my body will allow.
My smile is my mask.
Doesn't show when I shut my eyes.
Angry because it has to be this way.
Now my feelings are known.

Guess no one will ever really know.
I dont take for granted this world.
For the first time in my life I am scared.
Coming to grips with my so called life.
All the while watching the world around me.

There are times when the world presses down and seems to suffocate and crush the soul.

I can relate to this, relate to the longing not to have to say it. To the fear. Great job with portraying the emotion of this peace.
