Forlorn
by Sharron Loughran
copyright 04-04-2001

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Forlorn the cat sits
For his master has deserted him
Forlorn he waits in desperation
For his master to return
Never realizing that his fate
Now forlornly depends on his skills of survival
For without those skills
Forlorn he is doomed

Hi Sharron. The cat won't remain forlorn for long. They have too much self-preservation instinct to allow that. This one will find someone else to "own", Cats are their own masters! Great poem, Bunny

I think the cat will make it! I enjoyed the idea behind this. I can picture it very clearly!
