Erupted Flavor

A desert of weed and thorny brush periscopes
collides with my thoughts as it rustles
from an envious angry gush of phantom suspirations
uttered by a vacillating mirage of translucent emerald imps
created
during an anxious mental climax
of agonizing doubt monologues.
Underneath my eyelid plateau of actuality
caverns of spoiled, sacramental courage drool
are infested
with creeping, tangled blue vines
crawling with charred tarantulas
humming a passionless diapason
about forlorn mattress ecstasies.
It all becomes an ingathering
of envisaged bagels
consumed
between
sunset’s anadem of endings
and a yawn.

Another intriguing mixture, William...Those "thorny bush periscopes" leap right out -- what a great cactus image! Love the trip - and the finish!
