Dedication:
To my wife, Xiao Yan.
Always near, ever close by
In the warm embrace of summer morning,
Often without a hint or warning,
You are the glow of sunrise sky.
A walk in the garden, mind in reflection
Your face appears when my glance goes
To radiance of a blushing rose:
Dainty, delectable, complete perfection.
The splendid sun king broadcasts while
Showering sunbeams born of fire;
Songbirds' roundelays in choir
Ignite me like your amorous smile.
End of day; and right on cue,
Come purple sounds: glowing reprise
Of love song in exciting keys;
Life swings with the nearness of you.
