Bright silver Stars of Light
tiptoeing sprightly
across the azure sea,
as if to scurry
about their fun
before the fall of night
Calm blue waters,
lapping quietly at the shore,
a lazy carpet on which to play
Quiet washes over
all who pause to enjoy
as whispering sirens
celebrate the end of day
And velvety Darkness
wraps the display
in her arms,
charms Memory
to save it
to be recalled
when storm clouds gather
and shroud Light in fog.
