How can I sing the song of my soul?
How can I dance the rhythm of my heart?
I thought I saw light while staring at the moon,
Now the sun blazes before my eyes in the afternoon,
I thought I knew love when I looked at other guys,
Now I am enraptured by the light of your eyes.

When did I lose control?
When did it start?
I feel like King Solomon asking to be wise,
He recieved wisdom and the whole world besides,
I asked for a man of faith, a man who's heart is true,
The Lord God above kindly sent me you.

How can I sing the song of my soul?
How can I dance the rhythm of my heart?
I once dreamed of a handsome knight
and awoke, disillusioned, when dawn shattered night,
But the sun will no longer break my poor heart,
You are not a dream and someday we will not be apart.
