Goodbye
A beating heart has gone to sleep
At peace to join heavenly family members
Your soul today has slipped away
And this has left us to feel anger
It’s not supposed to be your turn
Your smile and laughter parted
So many love you, young and old
For us old memories have started
Your life on earth was just a treasure
Your family love you oh so much
Your brother recalls much fun together
He thinks of you and feels your touch
That trip you took, in the box down the stairway
With your Dad in trouble deep
The time you chased the baby duckling
The duck stopped, you put him to sleep
A life of love you shared with Richard
Then so suddenly he passed away
When you found Jim a second chance
Wish you had had more time to stay
Goodbye dear sister we will miss you
Your lovely smile your gentle ways
Look down upon us , spread the sunshine
Make us smile brighten our days.
