by Lyle Berry (Age: 61)
copyright 07-23-2002

Age Rating: 18 to 127

He met some swilling whiskey
A handful quaffing beer
Several sipping brandy
Loose ladies he held dear

He “tripped the light fantastic”
Pre-coital mating dance
His lines they judged Jurassic
But later, dropped their pants

He boffed them against dumpsters
On seats of trucks and cars
Low rent “no-tell” motel rooms
Conquests from sleazy bars

Respect them in the morning?
Revere each one night stand?
He’d sneak off without warning
Like every footloose man

Hmmm. I hope this isn't a self-portrait. It does capture the essence of more than one male heart, either in practice or just in dreams.
