I'm a woman, liberated,
I can work and cook and plan,
But if there's REALLY a hereafter,

From the time that you are children,
The difference can be seen,
A boy's EXPECTED to get dirty,
But a girl must stay real clean.
Then the teenage years are on you,
And it's still quite evident,
If you both get into trouble,
You'll find reactions different.
She is tarnished as a woman,
She's a harlot, plots and ploys,
But though it takes two to tango,
What's he hear? --Boys will be boys--
I'm a woman, aren't I lucky?
I can work and cook and plan,

I'm coming back here as a man!
Liberation's got us farther,
In the workplace, so they say,
Yah, we're ALLOWED to work more hours,
Do more things...and for less pay!
You're a wife, an equal ? partner,
You can work AND cook and clean,
Say you're sick? Oh, you'll get better,
In-laws day, is my shirt clean?
Now you're a Mom, must always be there,
Stand behind them through all strife,
Doesn't matter how they treat you,
Chalk it up as part of life.
I'm a woman, and a mother,
I can work and cook and plan,

I'm coming back here as a man!
Turn your cheek when all his family,
Cause you trouble...just act coy,
Don't be hateful, you'll forgive them,
Entertain the Good Ole Boys!
When you're young, you're taught to like it,
And you do, most of your life,
Being daughter, girlfriend, mother,
Boss's slave and loving wife.
But the world has almost passed us by,
We've served and spoiled them well,
Now when we want things for ourselves,
We're selfish, mean, -- not well--
I'm a woman, liberated,
