Robert,
I'm glad that you liked this poem. It is authenic Cherokee as far as my knowledge goes so far. I have a book of "Cherokee Words With Pictures" written by
Mary Ulmer Chiltoskey, copyright 1972 by Mary Ulmer and G.B. Chiltoskey, Cherokee,N.C. Library of Congress card catalog number 72-76716.
This book also contains from the, "Bureau Of American Ethnolgy","The Cherokee Alphabet".
I am sure in a library you may find audio tapes with the right pronunciation. The rythym you should be able to find too.
Rachel,
I'm glad that you liked this poem as well. I do hope to continue to learn more and to share more.
