Still Time
by Patricia Boudreau (Age: 57)
copyright 08-08-2002

Age Rating: 18 to 127

If time could be made tangible
Hours made more managable
would you taste it,
hold it, paste it,
on a page
reflect or rage ?

If the ticking of the clock
you could somehow stop,
back up replay ,
what was yesterday,
Would you change it ?
Rearrange it ?

Would you learn from past mistakes ?
Would there be more gives than takes ?
Or would you stay
the same old way,
wasting away
day after day,
until...
time does indeed
stand still.........

I wish you would have stayed around. Your work is good and I can just see all I have missed from you. Thanks, Anthony

Welcome to PnP. This a a great starting poem to introduce your work. Time, we all wonder, we all hope we would learn from our mistakes. I'm not sure sometimes we really want to find out.
