Escape

I want to be alone, away from all the voices;
I need to find peace from all the people, all the choices.
I will run from all the tests, run from all the rules;
And hide from all the pests, hide from all the fools.

I must flee from the noises, complaints and interruptions,
And recoil from madness, from dishonest assumptions;
I shall evade all sadness and all responsibilities,
And shun the frustration, shun all arrogant abilities.

Oh, to be free, to escape from pain and sorrow,
And be gone from the grief of today, of tomorrow...

While hiding away is nice, and for short periods of time silence is welcomed with joy in hopes to find piece until dawn's light shatters it, silence will also drive you mad. Basically, it's all about who you're dealing with and whether they tolerate chaos or lonesomeness better.

Me? I change daily. XD

Okay! For the poem! You have some damn good rhymes here. You used words I never would of thought of trying to make rhyme to make this piece flow nicely. ^-^ While the topic was on the familiar side, you still portrayed in your own words with a tone of voice that sounds out above the usual poem of this genre. Nice piece, keep it comin'!
