Little girl dreams
by Honey H. C.
copyright 04-04-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

As a little girl sleeps, there is a smile playing on her lips.
her teddy she holds so close and dear to her, is snuggled up close.
Her arms wrap him in warmth and love.
The blankets tucked around the sleeping girl and her tiny hand grasps the corner.
The window accross from her bed is casting moonlight on her hair splayed on her pillow, laying shadows accross her cheeks.
The stars are twinkling like little fairies dancing in the poster above her bed.
She stirrs just a little and a soft moan exscapes her lips, but her smile is bigger so this tells me she is still happy in her dream.
She hugs teddy closer still.
As I sit and watch I can't help but wonder what she dreams.
Is it unicorns or fairies, horses, or perhaps a distant quiet far away land of magical whims.
I smile knowing she is safe and happy in her dream state, and that she has no worries or cares.
As a little girl sleeps, there is a smile playing on her lips

One of my favorite things is to watch my children sleep. Beautifully written.
