The snow falls softly
Glistening in the moonlight
How peaceful the snow makes the night seem
As the snow falls blindly
A hush comes over the night
The only sound heard is the snow falling
The snow falls quickly
The ground a blanket of white
A blanket of white that lay so pristine
The moon shines down
Reflecting off the of snow
A blanket of snow that stretches endlessly
As the moon goes down
The blanket of white sees the sun
The sunshine changes the blanket of snow
The blanket of snow lays
No longer pristine and enchanting
For only the night can wrought the magic
