I have watched you with longing in my eyes that reaches the depths of my very soul,
and the sun glistens on the tears that fall silent as a whisper from sorrowed eyes...
I have dreamed sweet visions of your breath on my cheek fanning softly my silky skin,
but the chill rain comes and washes the sensation away until all that is left is desolation...
I have longed in sweet agony to feel your touch surrounding me and knowing it could never be,
for the reality of life descends on me like the winter's chill stealing the pleasure to leave only pain...
I am like no other woman. I stand alone on the hill overlooking the desolate shore,
the wind tosses my hair and reminds me that while I am lonely...
I am not alone.
