A Dream Made Real


When I was young, my life filled with dreams.
My heart filled wih song of love, lasting and true.
I tried on my own with life’s cunning schemes.
Then after I quit trying, God gave me you.

A long time lonely, my time half spent.
Hope almost gone, with still a life to share.
You came along, A love heaven sent.
You, so awesomely beautiful and fair.

The road ahead still rocky, and pitfalls so deep.
God,s guidance is certain, and his redemption sure.
If perhaps along the way we stumble and slip.
In faith He lifts us up to keep our love pure.


You are so beautifull, so lovely in my heart.
Every day of every year you have been none the less
The road is smoother now, I know we will never part
As we love one another we are yet to have the best


I want to share each thought I have with you.
I want to hear of yours as well.
If our days be many or few,
Spending them with you is oh so swell.

While seated at God’s table.
I’ll paint a scenario if I dare.
One day my Lord will touch me and say
“Linda is right over there”.
