• The Holiday Plight
– In the misty moonlight
– By the flickering ducklight
• All those Christmas tree lights
• We put up every year
• And with any good luck
• You can see the little rainduck
• Along with the little trainduck
• They always sit right here
• As we walk through this house of ours
• With all the trees and candle towers
• There is scarcely any room
• That is left for me
I just sit and anticipate
• Actually I can hardly wait
• When all this comes down I’ll bet
• We still have Easter yet
