The sweet sent of rose surronds me,
I awake from a sound I adore;
The smell then turns eatable,
As my breakfast hits the floor;
I go bounding around the corner,
My eyes flash vividly at the food;
I nibble it up fast,
Trying hard not to be rude;
I sing my song of purr,
As I lay basking in the sun;
My Life is such a breeze,
But my day has only begun;
Birds taunt me with their song,
As I watch them through the glass;
But little do they know,
I could kill them with one lash;
For now they remain lucky,
And safe outside this wall;
But when I become free,
United they will fall;
I love to bond and cuddle,
Pick me up and pet my soft fur;
And when I sleep upon your lap,
Listen closely and you'll hear me purr;
I love to play and climb real high,
I dart around and swat the air;
But when I reach for the clouds,
I act confussed when nothings there;
The day is now over,
Curled up snugly in your lap;
Your clothes are soft and warm,
A perfect place to take my nap;
