Let Me Die, Right Here, Right Now
by Jessica Conley (Age: 18)
copyright 08-23-2002

Age Rating: 18 to 127

I hate the world, I hate everyone,
Why can't I die.
Why did God put me on the world,
I'll die if I try.

Dying is the best way,
To fix all of my problems.
Please, take me now,
I can't tale it anymore.

I feel I'm trapped underneath silence,
Just take me now, I don't want to live,
In a world thats so unfair.
Just let me die!

Let me die,
Right here, right now,
Let me die,
I hate everything.

There's not one thing in the world,
That I care about because it's so horrible,
Lost in darkness, trapped in the night,
I don't want to see dawn's light.

Let me die, right here, right now,
If you won't do it, I'll find away.
I hate everything living thing,
On this terrible Earth.

Let me die, right here, right now.
Please, just let me die.

Poetry execution is reasonable, however it seems pointless, essentially a suicide note which simply frustrates the reader because there is really nothing he can do about it.

The writer claims a belief in God, however eschews the very life that God gave her.

Jessica, if this is conjured, it is a struggle, but it lacks a resolution, outcome. You need to either kill off the protagonist or have her come to the truth that she needs to, actually must, accept the life God gave her.

If it is a personal statement, then realize that God is up there seeing the entire chessboard. You and I are just ants on the board and cannot see the whole plan, the big picture. No matter what we may think of this life, God gave it to each of us. Our job is to accept it and do the very best we can with what we are given.
