Some are not yet aware the Prose-n-Poetry is also now a publisher. We are.
We are beginning to look at authors on the site who are prolific and good enough to warrant a book devoted to their works. We may wish to publish those. If so, we will contact you and we'll talk contracts.
Another area which we are looking at is serials. Some of those may be publishable, especially if the author is willing to work on the faults.
One last area is private self-publishing. We have had an inquiry or two asking if we would publish an author's collection, the idea being a limited edition for friends and family. This is also certainly a possibility. If you are interested in that email me with the quantity that you would like and about how many pages. I can rough out an estimate from that.
One thing to be clear. This is not poetry.com. All board members and our CEO are writers in their own right. We are geared and aimed at authors and helping them. It is not our intent to overcharge authors in any way.

Nearly all works at PnP are original. However a few people choose to plagiarize.
To check, choose a phrase from the work, then either drag and drop to the search box or copy and paste.
click on search and works at Google will be shown which match. Just to be sure, please do this before
you recommend or rate the work highly...
I didn't realize you did this. I have a few works on poetry.com and they expect money when they read your poem at the annual convention. I did that last year. You get a trophy, sticker, and a medallion. I mean it's over $100 just to get a trophy and to have your poem read. I know it might be shipping and handling, but it's just not worth it. I hate their website. All of the other things that are tied with it are pricey too. I like PnP. It's a big package, for just a little bit of money. Well, talk to you later.

I know this is an old article, but I'm certainly interested to hear more of this. I'm sure many of the subscribers are wondering whether their work is publishible and with whom.
I had no idea!
You people publish stuff?
So the directors look through stuff, find if they like multiple stuff by the same author, and publish it?
You don't have to like reccomend it or anything?
Is it expensive?
Does the author have to chip in with money....?
So many questions, so little time to become a published author....
