Chicken Soup Made In A Crock Pot

Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breasts, skinless & boneless
12 cups water
One onion, chopped
1/4 tsp pepper
Any leftover rice, pasta or potatoes from the fridge. Or add 1/2 c instant rice.
Any veggies leftover in fridge or freezer.
Celery.
Salt to taste.

Directions:
Cut the chicken breasts in one inch cubes. Place all ingredients in slow cooker.

Cook on low 5 to 6 hours.

Set it and Forget it.... That's what this sounds like. 12 cups of water sounds a bit much but I'll try this out and see what happens. My family is big on chicken, so I will try this soon.

Please tell us if the chicken should be pre-cooked. I have several soup recipes with chicken in them...most of them with it cooked before putting in the pot. Thanks for posting this. It sounds GREAT.
