Sunlight delivers means
for brilliant reflection,
for my colored shadow’s guilty of
neglecting misconception.

The direction which she travels
changes solely for a mirror,
not for copied paper flights of fancy
or the vampires that fear her.

On clearer days I invite your rays
so these smiles I'll not need to feign,
for I'm sad when it rains and the clouds
choose to swathe my reasons for laughing at pain.

My brain apprehends your innards and means
and interpretation of your rays makes skies blue.
My mind’s brought me wonder for the fact that you’re there
and as my heart serves it purpose...
I’ll love you...

And furthermore as you shroud yourself behind
a brilliant horizon...
I'll shine for you.
