To The Seniors
by Annie Finnegan
copyright 09-07-2002

Age Rating: 7 to 17

We had our good times
our bad times,and those times
we didn't even know what it was.
They laughed with us,they cried with us.
Occasionally,they yelled at us.
They never meant to be vein or cruel.
They just wanted to keep us out of trouble.
SO when they stand there, under those lights,
and tell us how to act, just remember
what they taught us,it was always
for the better.
We looked to them for advice, and who we got
our mics from.Even if they are old,
they tend to be crazy, twisted and makes you
want to run for your life, loveable.
Goodbye isn't always a sad thing.
but everyone knows it's true, even if they
come back to see us.We'll always miss our
seniors, and we hope they miss us too.
