A glowing campfire
on a warm starry night.

Children's laughing faces
What a beautiful sight.

Toasted marshmallows
on the end of a stick.

Crispy and smooth
warm and soft to lick.

Pop pop pop
the scent fills the air.

Kernels white and fluffy
form as I stare.

Sudden bursts of song
fill my heart with joy.

A grandmothers wish
for every girl and boy.
