Full Moon
by Heidi K.
copyright 07-02-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

When the moon is full would you meet me,
'neath the cover of the weeping willow tree?
Or would you leave me to wait in my sorrow,
dreading the coming of dawn and tomorrow?

Don't leave me waiting this day my love,
with heavy heart in our forbidden cove.
Join me for the day of the full moon,
give me your love with haste and soon.

Join with me now to be one forever,
bathed in the glow of the full moon.

I wrote this for my website, gigglepages.com because Full Moon Day is coming up July 5th. I had to turn it into a forbidden love poem though because for me the moon has a romantic yet forbidden mystery to it.

Cool poem. I heard music as I read it, would make a great song.
