He touched my heart and then we wed
I saw a heart that lay broken and bled
My life and soul had found love divine
My shock and horror to find it was mine
Deception and lies had wounded it true
The sky I looked upon no longer blue
To be given answers too late too soon
My happiness drying up as on a desert dune
Reality now mine brought tortured dismay
Fear of the love I cherished may die this day
