Not So Bad
by Emily Garwood (Age: 21)
copyright 09-27-2002

Age Rating: 13 to 127

Not so bad this,
Being adopted,
I went from unwanted to wanted,
Well i think it's like that.

I wonder what they're like,
Even though i promised, never to think of them,
Another thought came,
Am i like them?
Do they remember me?
Do they regret leaving me to defend myself?

I can't help hating them,
Being angry or upset for just leaving me,
Never understanding why they left,
A million questions in my head,
But not asking them, incase i hurt those who took me in.

Not so bad this,
One day i'll know,
Then i can forget them,
Never again to worry about their thoughts.

That poem is very thought provoking. It must hurt an confuse you a lot, If it's about you. Or if not it must hurt an confuse someone else very much. Very difficult quesstion to answer. The other way to look at it, your loved, wanted. There are a lot out there who aren't. DIXIE LEE
