As night creeps in, the sun long down
The shadows, the howls, an eerie sound
Your heart racing, your in a cold sweat
Your blood freezes, your palms are wet
You see movement here, no it was there
Now the sounds seem to be everywhere
How did you get here and where do you go
To get back to a place or a face you know
In daylight you face unimaginable things
But now you face what the dark brings
In your mouth it is fear you taste
For now it's yourself you know you must face.
