What Makes Christianity White?
by Esther Spurrill (Age: 29)
copyright 10-08-2002

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Jesus' mother was Middle-Eastern;
His Father was not human:
Nothing could have given Him blue eyes
Or made Him blond.

Jesus' skin was dark and tanned:
If not from birth,
Then from the sun.
His hands were rough and calloused and his feet were often dirty.

Jesus didn't come to whites;
He came to Israel.
So, what makes Him a "white God"?
And what makes Christianity white?

The titles of your poems intrigue me, and the writing style and loud message you send draws me in deeper and deeper until I can't help but become obsessed with much of your works. You're a great author, with a controversial, yet true message. Keep writing.

Hmmm? White? Well, I suppose on the opinion, but I never regarding faith has having a color. Maybe certain people, but Christianity itself. I think there are many faces to God, none of them ordained to think one color is better than another. Nice poem, inspires a lot of thought.
