Compelled him to strong conviction
Heralding prior to nighttide slumber
He created with God a transition

His soul--a cherished monument
Appealed for tranquility and faith to rise
With premonition of life's brevity
He craved a deepening spirit with size

To be free but alive with connections
To a people with trust in peace
Was a yearning within his soul
Only his Higher Power could increase

With a singular grace from God
Void of dominance from outside forces
Heaven poured gifts into his soul
Honoring his faith, truth, and loving choices

Forever conscious with premonition
Of life's path being ever so short
Ascended him into God's glorious kingdom
Faraway from trials in his inner court
