Dreams-
Glowing embers of hope
that illuminate our
heart's greatest desires.
A comforting blanket of
illusion whispering softly
in the darkness of night
Fear-
Icy water that douses
the embers, eliminating
hope; exposing the soul
A harsh screaming voice;
The illusion vaporizes,
leaving behind only doubt
Reality-
A meshing of dreams and fear
Competing to take control
The foulness of fear is dimmed
greatly by dream's compassion
The creation when all is done-
is what we refer to as our life

Wonderfully!!! Especially I love 2nd part “Fear”. Metaphor is greatest! It is very bright and exact at the same time.
Once more I have seen for the talent has not the age. True poet sees and understands all by heart. - Irina.
