These feelings I feel deep down in my heart,
What is the matter with me?
Ever since I saw you that day in the park,
Nothing's been the same in me.

I feel as if my heart is crying,
It's killing me inside.
But no matter what, I keep on trying,
For something I try to hide.

If only you knew how I felt,
Maybe things would be different between us.
Do you remember when we first met,
How your smile won my trust.

I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
I would make things wrong to right.
I feel things would be different this time,
If only you knew.

There are three little words I want to say,
But these words scare me to death.
People told me this will lead the way,
I sob under each breath.

If only you knew how I felt,
Maybe things would be easier for me.
My heart feels like it's going to melt,
And die with the autumn leaves.

The three little words I want to say,
Confuse me in so many ways.
I am confused so much, you'll never understand,
Do you even remember who I am?

Emotions in my heart are killing me,
I wish I did'nt feel this way.
But you are too pretty to ignore,
I still hate the words I want to say.

If only you knew how I felt,
Maybe things would be different for me.
I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
And be able to see you one more time.

If only you knew, these three little words,
Maybe things would be different for me and you too.
The words my heart aches to say are,
"I love you".
